It was taken by Stewart & Co. Photographers at 284 -286 Bourke St, Melbourne
Can someone tell me what years they were at this address
I know the business had other addresses in Bourke St but the above
address is printed on the photo.

'Mechanical Eye in Australia 1841-1900' shows :
Stewart & Co., 284 Bourke St. Melbourne 1896, as well as
Stewart & Co., 284-286 Bourke St. Melbourne 1899-1900
Barrie & Weedon.

'Australians Behind the Camera 1841-1945' confirms the above though
shows the Co. at the latter address between 1899-1915, adding Barrie
& Weedon were partners at the 2nd named listing.
