would like to hear from anyone who might have researched NEDS CORNER STATION west of Mildura.
seems it was formed as a returned soldiers co==operative.

Especiallly looking for information on the manager JOHN "CHARLIE" McPherson, who was REALLY tall.Apparently well liked, popular personality.
many thanksJenny Fawcett

Is this it, Jenny? www.nedscorner.com.au

It has its own site, and a page on Wikipedia. A couple of Google
hits link to
Trove articles mentioning a McPherson. I couldn't find a mention
of him on the site,
but I didn't look very hard. There is a mention of returned
soldiers, but the station
has been around since the 1840's.

It is now owned and run by the Trust for Nature, who are linked
from the
Wikipedia page.
