Colonial MAULE is not a death cause and I need (a) better glasses and (b) to not do research late at night.
Researching an apprentice of a g.g.g uncle who went missing at seahttps://jfawcettblog.com/2016/05/31/mauled-english-the-death-of-james-brabner/

I would transcribe the entry as

Died at Sea from the "Colonel Maul" of Dundee (no date)

with 'from' indicating what ship he was from, and the spelling being
as the original entry.

I'd be a bit cautious about guaranteeing that he was actually aboard
the Colonel Maule when he died.

I adopted a male approach. If he died "from" the ship,
did he fall overboard?

Jenny, it would be a great help if you left a space character just
before
the URL. On my newsreader, the line ran off the page. I copied
the full
URL from Cecilia's reply.
