Hi Jan,

Do you have a tree on Ancestry or have you checked the trees on Ancestry?

Just saw this - June Williams (Portrait) Date: 16 April 1941
Jack Kingston Mercer Finnis (born 1917)

And wondered if it is not yours whether they have some answers for you.

Good luck
Pat

Hi Jan

I can think of only one other way to go and it's a long shot. Jack Kingston
Finnis' death notice appeared in the Adelaide Advertiser (not on Ryerson).
Check out this site
https://tinyurl.com/jyhc92v

If there was a funeral notice you will have the name of the cemetery where
he was buried. You can contact them and see if June is buried with him. He
died 3/10/1975.
Worth a shot if you are desperate.

Regards

Hi Ray

Interesting date. I just checked Family Search SA, they have used the
American style of dating.
Well, that's that. Unless Jan goes ahead with the search to see if he left a
wife.

P.S. That American style date was actually from the State Library of South
Australia.
